ЦВК оголосила з 5 вересня 2020 р. початок виборчого процесу місцевих виборів
30 серпня відбулося чергове засідання Центральної виборчої комісії, під час якого Комісія оголосила з 5 вересня 2020 року початок виборчого процесу місцевих виборів, призначених на 25 жовтня 2020 року.
Рішення прийняте на виконання вимог Виборчого кодексу України.

Окрім того, Комісія внесла зміни до своєї постанови від 8 серпня 2020 року № 163 “Про Календарний план основних організаційних заходів з підготовки та проведення місцевих виборів 25 жовтня 2020 року”, виклавши вказаний Календарний план у новій редакції.
